Our name, Frances Harvey, is derived from two family names of its founder, Jessica Taylor. Frances, her paternal grandmother passed before she was born; and Harvey, her maternal grandfather whose life made a significant mark on Jessica’s life and work. Their stories are human, and represent the way our unique and complex histories can forge the grit and creativity we need for a bright and expanded future.

Jessica Taylor

Design Principal
The daughter of a gallerist and granddaughter of a traditional fine artist, Jessica Taylor inherited a well of creativity and developed a keen eye for quality from a young age. With an education in studio art and architecture, Jessica launched Thirty 7 Degrees, as a humanitarian project, in 2007. Passionate about connecting people and telling authentic stories, Jessica partnered with non-profit organizations around the world to capture the impact of their work and the beauty of the communities they served. With her passion for storytelling and background in design she found herself in multiple disciplines in the non-profit sector including: graphic design, event design and eventually architectural interiors.

In 2015 while renovating her first home, a 1940s bungalow, Jessica’s passion for creating connected and inspired spaces was reinvigorated. She focused her entire energy into what is now Frances Harvey — an interiors studio that builds and restores beautiful spaces that reflect the unique soul of its owners and guests to give all who enter a feeling of “better than vacation”.

Jessica is known for design excellence, earning the complete trust of her clients, and delivering a beautiful experience. When she is not working, you will find her traveling - either 30,000 feet in the air, or exploring in the airstream with her sidekick, Sands.
